Our Approach

Inland Empire Resources-Touch of God is a faith-based volunteer ministry, focused on providing up to date resources to those who need it. We are engaged with the Bible's teachings which tell us how to help those in need. If you will take a moment, you can read verses from the Bible that inspire not only the work we do at Inland Empire Resources-Touch of God but also some of those who run the Homeless Shelters, Food Banks, and Crisis Hot Lines. We encourage you to read the verses HERE.

Our focus is to publish an updated list of Homeless Shelters, Food Pantries (as well as available free Hot Meals) and a list of Hot Lines where people in crisis can find someone to listen and provide help.

Having a central place to find that updated information in the Inland Empire has been hard to find. Our list will be checked periodically for accuracy and we will add and delete listings as appropriate.

We encourage you to contact us if you are aware of a service not on the list we will check for inclusion...or, if you find the information inaccurate for any reason, please tell us.  You can send an email to use HERE. You will also find an email address listed under "contact us".

We hope that you will find these resources helpful.

Our Story

Meet Shari

Shari is passionate about helping. And these are the steps she took to get where she is now by the grace of God. To be successful in receiving help, your first step is to genuinely want to change your life. Step two is to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ who will walk side by side with you. Third, you need to identify your needs and start calling resources. Lastly, get involved in a support group at a church who will provide people who will love and support you...who will guide you and hold you accountable as you walk the new path God has laid out. Remember, with Jesus and you together, ANYTHING is possible.

Shari Pearson

Founder Jesus Christ and Shari is a disciple of Jesus.

Shari was on drugs for over 40 years and homeless for many of those years. Three and a half years ago she rededicated her life to Christ and her life radically changed. Glory to God! She found the Rock Church and World Outreach Center in San Bernardino and calls it her home church. She went through the Breaking Free Ministry which helped her to break through many strongholds and unforgiveness that keep her in bondage for so many years. She also attended the Rock Bible College and was blessed to sit under all of the gifted instructors that gave her the tools to live her life in accordance to God's Word. She received an Associates Degree in Biblical studies which has prepared her for outreach ministry. Glory to God!  Shari has been involved in different outreach ministries through her church, including Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Food Distribution Center, and volunteered for different events at the church. Jesus said, "As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person that believes. Mark 9:23 God's Word)  The Rock Church has been a lifeline in her walk with the Lord. God put it in Shari's heart to reach out to those in need. This website is an effort she is making in that direction. Here are some Bible verses that we hope will inspire you as it did  Shari (Click HERE to see the Bible verses).

Prayer of Faith

If you have been homeless and hungry, you know what it’s like to be afflicted and lonely, but the Bible says that if you call out to Him, He “will incline [His] ear” toward you and “hear the desire of” your afflicted heart. Here are a few scriptures from the Bible that will show you how much God loves and cares for you, and how you can know Him personally.
Psalm 10:17  (ESV) “O LORD, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear.”
Proverbs 14:31 (AMP)  “Whoever oppresses the poor taunts and insults his Maker, But he who is kind and merciful and gracious to the needy honors Him.”
Matthew 11:28 (MSG)   “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
Jeremiah 29:11-12 (NIV)  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
John 3:16 (NKJV)  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 14:6 (NKJV)  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)   If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Prayer of Salvation
If you would like to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repeat these words from your heart and your mouth out loud:
Dear God, I come to You in the name of Jesus, and I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. Jesus, come into my heart and direct my life. I confess with my mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart God raised Him from the dead and that He is alive and sitting at God's right hand. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank You, God, for forgiving me, saving me, and giving me eternal life with you. AMEN.
