This is a 90-day program, they work off of a waiting list, so they have to qualify through a questionnaire then a waiting list. 62 beds.
THEY HAVE AN OUTREACH AND HOMELESS PROGRAM FOR VETERANS ONLY.
This is at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda.
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY SHELTER, 3 days stay for non-residents, up to 30 days stay if a Barstow resident. They serve lunches and supply showers for homeless who do not reside in the shelter.
Must have ID. Because they do a background check. First come, first serve. Intake time is between 1:30-3:30. Case by case management.
This is a Domestic Violence Shelter for women and children. This facility provides 17 beds with two outreaches and outpatient counseling in Big Bear, Blue Jay, and Crestline.
THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SHELTER. This is a SEASONAL PROGRAM ONLY WHEN WEATHER IS BELOW 40 DEGREES OR RAINING HEAVILY. They provide blankets, sleeping bags, and motel vouchers. ID and proof of income are needed. They provide clothing, surplus for clients in the service area which is under notes.
They also do RENTAL ASSISTANCE if you have a 3-day notice to evict they will pay the 3-day notice. If you are looking for a new place they can pay first month’s rent or deposit, but you must have income, and you must look in their service area which is Redlands, Yucaipa, Grand Terrace, Mentone, some of Highland, some of Loma Linda
THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY HOMELESS SHELTER. THIS IS TRANSITIONAL HOUSING for 2 bedroom fully furnished apartments. Rent and utilities free for 120 days for those who qualify.
For the homeless community they offer, food, hygiene kits, sleeping bags. They serve the areas of Upland, Ontario, Pomona, Montclair, Claremont, Rancho Cucamonga. Proof of residency, current or recent.
THIS IS TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR MALE VETERANS ONLY AND THEY MUST BE REFERRED BY THE V.A. HOSPITAL.
They serve lunch Monday- Friday 11:00-1:00, for all homeless people. Every second Wednesday of the month they give out hygiene kits. Every third Wednesday they give out food bags, must have a valid ID.
THIS IS A 30-DAY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN.
There will be a 6-month extension after fulfilling program requirements.
THIS IS A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER FOR MEN, OR WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND THEIR PETS.

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY HOMELESS SHELTER FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN ONLY. 2-week and extended 90-day temporary shelter.
THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SHELTER. Must be homeless. They help the homeless families coming from a shelter or motel with a 3rd party voucher from a charity or county, not from family. This is for a family with children under the age of 17 under their custody, to get an apartment and also help low-income pay for their rent for a couple of months till they get on their own.
Appointments only. You must qualify for this program. Services include case-mgmt., career counseling, budgeting and life skills development. This is a rapid re-housing org. Which offers subsidized rent and wrap around case mgmt. services.
THIS PROGRAM HELPS ONLY TEENAGE RESIDENTS AGES 18-22 with short-term and permanent housing needs.
Teens will work with case manager on employment and other financial assistance, for example: learn about local rent or security deposit assistance programs. Clients will need to complete high school G.E.D.
THIS PROGRAM IS FOR THE HOMELESS or those at risk of homelessness. Also is a targeted outreach for homeless Veterans and Military families, and the Community at large. Ages 18-62. Mental Health issues or drug and substance abuse.
Criminal background check given during intake. No paroles or sex offenders. Calls and walk-ins accepted from 8:00am-3:00pm. No appointments. If client has no income they will help get the client income.
THIS IS A TRANSITIONAL LIVING SHELTER for single men, single women, and women with up to 2 children.
There is a waiting list.
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER for men, women, and children. It is a 30-day program, can possibly stay up to 120 days if you follow program requirements. If you are local they will do an emergency transfer for your protection to another county if needed.
Other services include domestic violence programs, legal advocacy, community education.
